Stampacchia generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problem with set-valued mapping

In this paper, the solvability of Stampacchia generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problem (in short, GVQEP) with set-valued mapping is studied. By using continuous selection theorem and fixed point theorems, some existence theorems for (GVQEP) are obtained without any monotonicity assumption. These theorems unify and improve some results in the recent references.     

Structural stability and robustness to bounded rationality for non-compact cases

We study the model M consisting of “general games” with noncompact action space, together with an associated abstract rationality function. We prove that M is structurally stable and robust to ϵ-equilibria for “almost all” parameters. As applications, we investigate structural stability and robustness to bounded rationality for noncooperative games, multiobjective optimizations and fixed point problems satisfying existence and some continuity conditions. Specifically, we introduce concrete rationality functions for such three kinds of problems with both payoffs and strategy sets, objective functions and domain spaces, and correspondence and domain spaces as parameters, respectively, and show the generic structural stability and robustness to bounded rationality for the corresponding model Ms.

1994年, Foulis和Bennett在表示不可精确测量的量子逻辑结构时引入了效应代数. 该文用直接构造的方法, 给出一类效应代数上的态表示定理. 即, 若Ω是紧的 Hausdorff 拓扑空间, 令E(Ω)={f: f∈C(Ω), 0≤f≤1}, 则φ 是(E(Ω),Ο, 0, 1) 上的态当且仅当Ω 上存在唯一的正则Borel 概率测度μ使得对每个f (E(Ω),Ο, 0, 1),φ (f)=∫_Ω f dμ.     

Banach空间非线性Sturm-Liouville边值问题的正解

通过对非紧性测度的精细计算, 结合相应的线性方程的特征值理论, 运用凝聚映射的不动点指数理论, 分别在超线性与次线性情形下, 讨论Banach空间Sturm-Liouville边值问题正解的存在性.     

Strong convergence of composite iterative methods for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems

We introduce a new composite iterative scheme by viscosity approximation method for finding a common point of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space. It is proved that the sequence generated by the iterative scheme converges strongly to a common point of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping. Our results substantially improve the corresponding results of Takahashi and Takahashi [A. Takahashi, W. Takahashi, Viscosity approximation methods for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 331 (2007) 506-515]. Essentially a new approach for finding solutions of equilibrium problems and the fixed points of nonexpansive mappings is provided.     

Explicit averaging cyclic algorithm for common fixed points of asymptotically strictly pseudocontractive maps

Weak and strong convergence theorems for the approximation of common fixed points of a finite family of asymptotically strictly pseudocontractive mappings are proved in Hilbert spaces using an explicit averaging cyclic algorithm.     

A note on a paper of I.D. Arand?elovi? on asymptotic contractions

W.A. Kirk [W.A. Kirk, Fixed points of asymptotic contractions, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 277 (2003) 645-650] defined the notion of an asymptotic contraction on a metric space and using ultrapower techniques he gave a nonconstructive proof of an asymptotic version of the Boyd-Wong fixed point theorem. Subsequently, I.D. Arand?elovi? [I.D. Arand?elovi?, On a fixed point theorem of Kirk, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 301 (2005) 384-385] established somewhat more general version of Kirk's result and he gave an elementary proof of it. However, our purpose is to show that there is an error in this proof and, moreover, Arand?elovi?'s theorem is false. We also explain how to correct this result.     

Controllability of Semilinear Differential Systems with Nonlocal Initial Conditions in Banach Spaces

In this note, we establish a sufficient condition for the controllability of a first-order semilinear differential system with nonlocal initial conditions in Banach spaces. The approach used is the Sadovskii fixed-point theorem combined with operator semigroups. Particularly, the compactness of the operator semigroups is not needed in this article. Y.K. On Impulsive Hyperbolic Differential Inclusions with?Nonlocal Initial Conditions

This paper is focused mainly upon existence of solutions for a second-order impulsive hyperbolic differential inclusions with nonlocal initial conditions. By using some well-known fixed-point theorems, existence theorems are established when the multivalued map has convex or nonconvex values. As applications of these main theorems, some consequences are given for the sublinear growth cases. Y.-K.
